Here we see Vangelis at Nemo Studios London working on a movie score. He’s done a lot of movie scores in his life time.  He’s best known for the epic theme from Chariots of Fire (1981) and the wonderful score to Bladerunner (1982) but also did work on movies like Nankyoku Monogatari (1983), and The Bounty (1984). As well, he’s released several electronic music albums, mostly on the ambient and even avant-garde side. As you can see, he loves to surround himself with expensive synthesizers. As a result he has definitely earned his reputation as a pioneer and legend. His music can definitely be on the fringes but he’s got oscars, gold and platinum records. If you haven’t ever done so, take some time to take in some Vangelis.
