We had been searching for a pic of some kids in a computer lab full of PETs for some time and it wasn’t until gK found some free copies of Sky and Telescope magazine that we finally got a good one… and a darn good one. These kids are learning to program in BASIC to do algebra, trig, and geometry as well as solve simple triangles and generate planet positions from assumed circular orbits. This reminds gK of the days back at computer camp: Programming in BASIC to make games like Worm and Mad Lib.
